Service · E-commerce SEO

E-commerce SEO that ships at the platform layer, not just the meta tag.

Most e-commerce SEO agencies stop at title tags and content briefs. The real ranking lift happens at the platform layer — product schema, internal-link architecture, Core Web Vitals, faceted-navigation crawl control, and the technical work most SEO retainers can't ship because they don't touch the codebase. We do all of it, because we built the e-commerce platform too.

Why e-commerce SEO breaks where SEO agencies stop

The default e-commerce SEO retainer covers keyword research, on-page content, and reporting. What it rarely touches: the product schema that decides whether you get rich results, the faceted-navigation setup that decides whether Google wastes crawl budget on 50,000 useless permutations of filter combinations, the JavaScript-rendered product page that crawlers can't parse, the Core Web Vitals gap that punishes you on mobile, or the internal-link architecture that decides whether your most valuable category pages get crawled at all.

These are platform-level problems. They get fixed when the SEO team can ship code into the store, not just write recommendations in a doc that someone else may eventually implement. We deliver both — SEO strategy and the technical work to ship it.

For Shopify operators: we ship within Liquid templates + apps + custom HTML/CSS. For custom Next.js / headless operators: we ship into the codebase directly. For operators stuck on a legacy platform that's the actual bottleneck: we recommend platform migration (and often deliver it).

What we ship in an e-commerce SEO engagement

  • Technical SEO audit — crawl logs, index coverage, redirect chains, canonical issues, faceted-navigation crawl traps, JavaScript-rendering gaps, internal-link architecture, sitemap quality.
  • Product schema rollout — Product, Offer, AggregateRating, Review, Breadcrumb, Organization schema across every product, category, and landing page. Schema validation + rich-result tracking.
  • Core Web Vitals optimization — LCP, INP, CLS targets in the good zone on mobile + desktop. Image optimization (WebP / AVIF), lazy loading, font-loading strategy, JS bundle splitting.
  • Keyword research and intent mapping — high-intent commercial queries per product category, geo-specific buyer terms, long-tail product-model variants, brand vs unbranded mix.
  • On-page optimization — title tags, meta descriptions, H1 hierarchy, product copy, internal-link anchor text, category-page content.
  • Content + landing-page strategy — buyer's guides, comparison pages, category landing pages, evergreen blog content built around commercial-intent clusters.
  • Local SEO + Google Business Profile (where physical retail exists) — for operators with brick-and-mortar locations supporting e-commerce.
  • Reporting + analytics — monthly performance reports against revenue + ranking + organic-traffic KPIs. GSC + GA4 + DataForSEO integration.
  • Platform migration recommendations — if Shopify / Magento / WooCommerce / BigCommerce is the actual bottleneck, we scope the move to custom Next.js or headless.

Frequently asked

What makes e-commerce SEO different from regular SEO?+

Volume + structure. A typical e-commerce store has 1,000–100,000 product pages, faceted navigation that can multiply that 10–100×, AggregateRating + Product schema rich-result eligibility, and Core Web Vitals gaps that disproportionately punish e-commerce. Regular SEO frameworks built for content sites or SaaS landing pages don't address the scale or structural problems.

Do you work with Shopify?+

Yes — Shopify + Shopify Plus engagements are common. We ship inside Liquid templates, custom apps, and the storefront codebase. For Shopify Plus operators with checkout extensibility, we also ship custom checkout SEO + analytics. For non-Plus Shopify stores, we work within Shopify's limits and recommend platform migration only when the platform is actually the bottleneck.

Do you work with custom Next.js / headless stores?+

Yes — custom Next.js and headless commerce (Shopify Hydrogen, BigCommerce headless, Saleor, Medusa) are where the deepest SEO work happens because we can ship into the codebase directly. The CBM Computers Karachi rebuild is an example of this — we built the custom Next.js storefront + the SEO engineered into it from day one.

How long until ranking improvements show up?+

Technical fixes (schema, CWV, canonicals): 4–8 weeks for indexed + measurable. Content + cluster work: 12–24 weeks for ranking lift to compound. Competitive categories (top-3 on commercial-intent keywords): 6–18 months depending on starting domain authority.

Do you guarantee rankings?+

No — and any agency that does is lying. What we do guarantee: documented technical SEO improvements, measurable Core Web Vitals lift, schema markup that validates in Google's tools, content cluster delivery to spec, and monthly transparent reporting. Ranking is the output; we control the inputs.

Can you run SEO without building the platform?+

Yes — many engagements are SEO-only on top of existing Shopify / WooCommerce / Magento / BigCommerce. The platform-level fixes are deeper when we own the codebase, but SEO retainers on top of SaaS platforms are a substantial part of our work.

What's the deal with the CBM Computers case study?+

CBM Computers is a Karachi-based premium electronics retailer (new + used laptops, Apple, mobiles). We delivered three workstreams in one engagement — custom POS, custom Next.js storefront replacing a generic Shopify theme, and end-to-end SEO targeting Pakistani buyer queries. Page-speed lift 3–5×, green Core Web Vitals across mobile + desktop, product schema across the catalog. Full case study linked below.

Do you work in Pakistan + Karachi specifically?+

Yes — Pakistan is one of our active markets. The CBM Computers engagement is in Karachi. We work with retailers across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad on combined POS + e-commerce + SEO engagements. PKR invoicing is supported.
