POS software for retailers who outgrew Square.
Custom point-of-sale systems with the multi-store inventory, payment, and analytics behavior that off-the-shelf POS can't bend to. Built by a Canadian software company serving retailers in Canada, the US, Pakistan, the UAE, and worldwide.
When generic POS starts costing more than it saves
Square, Shopify POS, and Lightspeed are great for the first store. They start to break around store 3 when inventory transfers, location-based pricing, custom promotion rules, and cross-store reporting become non-negotiable.
A custom POS isn't about reinventing the wheel — it's about a system that handles your real SKU complexity, your real promotion rules, your real cash-up flow, and gives head office a single number for sales and inventory across every store.
We've shipped POS platforms across 10+ retail businesses ranging from single-store specialty shops to 10+ location chains, serving markets in Canada, the US, Pakistan, the UAE, and beyond. The same engineering principles every time: offline-first, payment-flexible, and reportable from day one.
What's in a custom POS engagement
- Counter app — barcode scanning, customer lookup, discounts, refunds, holds, splits.
- Offline-first sync — terminals keep working when the internet drops, sync when it comes back.
- Inventory — SKUs, variants, suppliers, transfers between stores, stock takes, low-stock alerts.
- Multi-store management — pricing per location, central catalog, store-level overrides.
- Payment integration — card terminals (Stripe Terminal, Adyen, local payment gateways), cash, hybrid splits, wallet payments.
- Customer profile + loyalty — points, tiers, repeat-customer insights.
- Analytics — sales by store / SKU / hour / staff, basket analysis, margin by category.
- Receipt printing, kitchen tickets (for hospitality), label printing.
- End-of-day cash reconciliation, shift management, staff sales attribution.
- Tax handling — multi-rate, multi-jurisdiction, exempt categories.
- Mobile companion app for managers — sales at a glance, alerts, approvals.
How we deliver
- 01
Operational discovery
We watch a full sales day, a cash-up, and a stock take. The POS is shaped around what we observe, not what a feature list assumes.
- 02
Pilot store build
Counter app, payments, basic inventory, and end-of-day workflow live in one pilot store within 6–8 weeks.
- 03
Multi-store rollout
Cross-store inventory transfers, central catalog, location pricing, head-office dashboards layered in.
- 04
Hardware + training
Terminal hardware selection, receipt and label printer integration, staff training, and floor-walks during the first week of live operation.
- 05
Steady state
Monthly retainer for new features, integrations (accounting, e-commerce, marketplace), and seasonal performance work.

Frequently asked
Can we keep our existing payment processor?+
Yes — we integrate with Stripe Terminal, Adyen, Square Terminal, Clover, and most local Pakistani payment gateways (1Link, NIFT, Easypaisa, JazzCash). If you have a contract with a specific processor, we plug into it.
What hardware do we need?+
Most deployments use iPad-class tablets at the counter + a receipt printer + a barcode scanner + a card terminal. We can also deploy on Windows or Android terminals for environments where iPads aren't appropriate.
Does it work offline?+
Yes — offline-first by design. Terminals keep selling when the internet drops. Sync happens automatically when connectivity returns. Critical for stores in areas with unreliable broadband.
How does it integrate with accounting?+
We integrate with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and local accounting software. End-of-day journal entries post automatically; tax and tendered cash reconcile against accounting from day one.
Can it run alongside our e-commerce store?+
Yes — POS + Shopify, POS + WooCommerce, and POS + custom storefronts are common integrations. Inventory stays one number across channels.
Do you build POS for retailers in Pakistan, India, and the Middle East?+
Yes. We're a Canadian company working remote-first with retail businesses across South Asia and the Middle East. Engagements support JazzCash / Easypaisa / 1Link routing for Pakistan, Razorpay / UPI for India, regional card processors for the UAE, Urdu-friendly receipts where useful, multi-tier pricing, and PKR / INR / AED / multi-currency support.
